Make Money Online? That's a Scam!
May 26, 2009How often have your heard this one before. "You’re an internet marketer? That's one of those pyramid scams right?" This is
not only incorrect but it is just a stereotype of making money online.
If this has happen to you before then you know what I'm talking about and if it has not then give it time. This type of
momentum crushing, and negative thinking is ramped among those who just have no idea. To often would be online marketers and
new online business owners are so hyped and gushing with pride thinking of the true value of taking the bull by the horns and
forging your own path to success. They are blindsided by spouses, family members and friends telling them they are not going
to make it and all that internet stuff is a scam. Then you spend time and energy trying to explain how this one is different,
to no avail. I have one word for you, STOP!
Trying to convince others of how you’re going to make money and someday soon quit your day job is a no win proposition. They
have no doubt built in their own mind negative thoughts about ways to make money online and will only try their best to
destroy any positive thoughts you may have about it. Knowing full well that not too long ago they purchased some get rich
quick scam they saw on TV or online and it didn't work for them. So if it didn't work for them it can't work for anyone.
There are ways to avoid the ever increasing nay Sayers that look to crush dreams with their negative thoughts and momentum
ending words.
First: Don't tell anyone- Keep it to yourself. If anyone asks you, just tell them it is just something I'm doing for work so
I can be a better worker. This will make them feel as though you are taking the time to better yourself at work to maybe move
up in the company. Then when you are reading something or typing on the computer you tell them Oh this is the course I told
you about. This will buy you some much need quiet time to work on your Online business dream.
Second: Find Like Minded People- build relationships with them. You will need that positive reinforcement that comes from
those that are after the same thing you are "Financial Freedom”. You may be able to find that one person who is just so
willing and able to get it done, that you have no choice but to work with them because they just have "IT". Then again you
could be that person for some-else and be the spark they need to ignite there inner passion for online business success. A
great place to find likeminded people close to you is www.meetup.com You will soon find out that relationships are truly the
most important way to succeed in your business and marketing endeavors.
Third: build your own success story- The key is to make just one sale and you will be hooked, but don't go out and celebrate
just yet, use that money and reinvest it into your business. Keep track of how much you make on that first sale and the next
and the next. Then you want to send an email to your partners or the person whose product you sold for them and give them a
success story. Maybe they will put it on their website and others will see it and click on your website address and you will
gain more traffic from that one site. You can also gain credibility with your own list. Doing this will give you ammunition
for those would be "haters" that will try and rain on your parade.
Now this is just 3 ways to be bullet proof yourself when the nay Sayers try to shoot you down. Let them know you have been
working on it for however long you have been, give them some real live people that have been successful and then give them
your success. This will then start the, oh wow what kind of things are you doing, then you can briefly explain it give then
your website address and tell them to check it out it can answer all their questions. Keep in mind even if you have all this
for them there will still be those who will try to shut you down. Pay them no attention and keep your head up high you are
working for a better future for you and your family.
